Remarque :
Letter sent by Innocent III to French archbishops and their suffragans. He calls for crusaders to support the Latin Empire of Constantinople, granting crusading indulgences. The pope refers to the “withdrawal” of the Greeks from unity, to the filioque and to the azymes. Letter preserved both in the Registers and in the Gesta Innocentii III (ch. 94).PL 215, col. 634
