Apostolice sedis primatus (Epistula) Letter sent by Innocent III to the Patriarch of Constantinople, John X Kamateros, in response to a letter by the latter [Reg. II/199 (208)]. The pope defends the Primacy of the Roman See and invites the patriarch and the Greek clergy to a Church Council. PL 214, col. 758 This letter is also included in the Gesta Innocentii III, cap. LXI Letter written in response to a letter by Patriarch John Kamateros: ed. by Papadakis & Talbot, Byzantinoslavica 33 (1972), pp. 33-35. The patriarch responded in turn with another letter, ibid., 35-41. The first patriarchal letter is preserved in Latin translation in the papal registers: no. II/199 (208), Hageneder pp. 379-382.

Vir unus de Ramatha (Epistula) Letter sent by Innocent III to French archbishops and their suffragans. He calls for crusaders to support the Latin Empire of Constantinople, granting crusading indulgences. The pope refers to the “withdrawal” of the Greeks from unity, to the filioque and to the azymes. Letter preserved both in the Registers and in the Gesta Innocentii III (ch. 94). PL 215, col. 634
